Lo studio Bcpt Associati e il collettivo CoMoDo – Comunicare Moltiplica Doveri affrontano quotidianamente dal 1993 le ragioni di un mestiere scosso dalle energie del cambiamento.
La riflessione non cerca scorciatoie o rifugi eletti a templi dell’autoespressione, ma affronta con rigore e costante impegno il senso del progettare, sia esso per un’occasione culturale o commerciale, per dare forma alla necessità della testimonianza sociale o all’identità di un territorio o una città.
E la bellezza non manca mai, perché al mestiere del grafico servono sempre sia i bicipiti, l’energia febbrile e sapiente dell’artigiano, sia i dubbi sul senso del procedere, non a caso comunicare moltiplica i doveri.
The Bcpt Associati studio and the CoMoDo collective — Communicating Multiplies Duties — have been addressing the challenges of a profession shaken by the forces of change since 1993.
The reflection does not seek shortcuts or sanctuaries elevated to temples of self-expression, but it deals with the sense of design with accuracy, devoted and constant commitment, whether for a cultural or commercial purpose, to give shape to the need for social testimony or the identity of a territory or city.
Beauty is always present because the graphic designer’s profession always requires both biceps, the feverish and skillful energy of the craftsman, and doubts about the meaning of proceeding. After all, communication multiplies duties.
