I 100 anni del Partito Comunista Italiano sono l’occasione per ripercorrere la storia di un grande movimento di massa, di una forza politica e, soprattutto, per riflettere sull’influenza che ha avuto sullo sviluppo della società italiana per tutto il Novecento. La pregevole iniziativa, promossa dall’Associazione Nuova Cartacanta, di raccontare il più grande partito comunista dell’occidente attraverso le immagini della sua propaganda politica, permette la fruizione del patrimonio del Museo MAGMA di Civitanova Marche, portando alle giovani generazioni la memoria di un mestiere che comunica attraverso i muri delle città. I manifesti sono il punto di partenza dell’attività di promozione e divulgazione, anche attraverso i cataloghi. Gli spazi espositivi allestiti con opere originali, attraverso il loro linguaggio creativo sono quindi luoghi di riflessione, dove si svolgono convegni e seminari per approfondire la conoscenza, la diffusione e l’accesso pubblico di materiali e lavori in quella forma d’arte istantanea, l’immagine grafica, che stimola particolarmente le nuove generazioni. Agli eventi, organizzati con l’Istituto Gramsci, testimonianze e dibattiti si sviluppano attraverso ricerche originali, prodotte anche grazie all’istituzione di borse di studio, che raccontano con sentimento le personalità e le motivazioni storico, sociali e culturali, che portarono alla fondazione del PCI.

The  anniversary to celebrate one hundred years  from de birth of  the PCI (Italian Communist Party) are the right occasion to relive in our  imagination the story of a great mass movement, of a political force and moreover to reflect on the importance of the impact it has had for  the development of the Italian society during the entire 20th century. The precious initiative promoted by the Associazione Nuova Carta Canta, telling us about the biggest communist party of the Western world, by means of the images of its political propaganda, allows us to benefit of the patrimony of the Magma Museum of Civitanova Marche, showing the memory of an art and a craft that communicates using the walls of the town, to the new generations. The posters are the starting point of the advertising and divulgation work even by using   catalogues. The exhibition spaces  shelter original artworks which communicate by means of their creative language: true places for reflecting. There, conferences and seminars are held to improve our knowledge and to show and let people know about these pieces and  this kind of instant made works, the graphic design image, that stimulates mostly the new generations. At the events organised with the Istituto Gramsci they talk about opinions and experience, and there are  debates based on original research made also thanks to the scholarships. They are emotionally engaged in telling about the personalities and the historical, social and cultural reasons that have led to the foundation of the PCI.
