AMERICANA è una mostra realizzata da oltre 61 designer provenienti da 15 paesi latinoamericani. Ogni partecipante, partendo dal proprio territorio, offre uno sguardo singolare e profondamente radicato, che diventa parte di un coro visivo collettivo per celebrare anche il valore dell’identità, della diversità e della dignità di ogni popolo.

La mostra si articola in tre località e cinque prestigiosi luoghi, e l’ingresso è gratuito. Circa 600 poster selezionati per questa esposizione straordinaria, che si ritrovano tutti nel catalogo, reso spettacolare grazie alla realtà aumentata che offre un’esperienza immersiva.

Il catalogo, con introduzioni di Natalia Volpe, Mario Piazza, Enrico Lattanzi e Marco Tortoioli Ricci, non è solo un ricordo della mostra, ma un’avventura sensoriale che arricchisce la comprensione delle opere, coinvolgendo il pubblico in un mondo dove la tecnologia incontra il design della comunicazione, accentuando dettagli e contenuti di ogni poster.

“Denunce visive sull’urgenza ambientale e sulla violazione dei diritti dell’infanzia segnano l’asse centrale di questo percorso.
Sono presenti anche manifesti che riflettono sulla democrazia, la partecipazione cittadina e le tensioni sociali della regione.
Accanto a questi, opere culturali esprimono identità e appartenenza attraverso il simbolico. Il design si riafferma come strumento etico, critico e collettivo.”

AMERICANA is an exhibition shaped by the vision of over 61 designers from 15 Latin American countries. Each participant, drawing from their own land, offers a singular and deeply rooted perspective—one that joins a collective visual chorus to celebrate the richness of identity, the power of diversity, and the dignity of every people.

The exhibition unfolds across three cities and five prestigious venues, with free admission for all. Nearly 600 posters, selected for this extraordinary showcase, are featured in the accompanying catalogue—brought to life through augmented reality, offering an immersive experience that bridges the physical and the digital.

Far more than just a trace of the exhibition, the catalogue —featuring introductions by Natalia Volpe, Mario Piazza, Enrico Lattanzi, and Marco Tortoioli Ricci —  becomes a sensory journey, a vibrant extension of the exhibition itself. Through the interplay of technology and visual communication, it invites the viewer into a world where each poster reveals new layers of meaning, detail, and emotional resonance.

The exhibition also features posters reflecting on democracy, civic participation, and the social tensions of the region.
